Lower East Oval Room

The lower east oval room houses an exhibit of Rotunda artifacts. Tours given by the University Guide Service begin here.

This room cannot be reserved.

Lower West Oval Room

The Lower West Oval Room serves as a classroom on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays during the academic year. This room may be reserved for meetings, lectures, and social events when classes are not scheduled.

CONFIGURATIONS & FEES

Upper East Oval Room

This room is currently the meeting chamber of the University's governing body, the Board of Visitors.

This room cannot be reserved.

Upper West Oval Room

This room is primarily used as a lounge for student study, but may be reserved in conjunction with the Dome Room for a pre-event reception.

North Oval Room

The north oval room may be reserved for dissertation defenses and meetings.

The Dome Room

The Dome Room may be reserved for dinners or lectures on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings. On occasion, it may also be reserved during business hours for lectures, but will remain open to the public during those events.

The Multipurpose Room and West Courtyard

The Multipurpose Room in the southwest wing of the Rotunda may be reserved for meetings, lectures, lunches, and dinners. The West Courtyard may also be reserved in conjunction with the multipurpose room. Alcohol is not allowed in the West Courtyard during the academic year.
