The Lower West Oval Room serves as a classroom on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays during the academic year. This room may be reserved for meetings, lectures, and social events when classes are not scheduled.
Configuration & Fees
Lower West Oval Room Usage Fees:
Usage fees: The usage fees noted above are incurred for events scheduled outside of normal operating hours (after 5pm or prior to 9am) and/or if the event is catered or requires special setup.
Security fees: For events requiring setup or participant access prior to 9am or after 5pm, two security staff members are required on site. The rate is $20 per hour for each RMC security staff member, at a minimum of four hours, for a total minimum security fee of $160.
Cancellations/Refunds: The room usage fee (deposit) will be refunded if notice of cancellation is received a minimum of 30 days prior to the scheduled event. If the event is cancelled less than 30 days prior to the event, the room usage fee will be charged. As a courtesy, kindly cancel no fee bookings per the same guidelines or as soon thereafter as possible.
