The Rotunda will be closed until further notice.  All academic study hours and historical tours are canceled.  We regret the inconvenience.

 

PLEASE NOTE: Fall undergraduate courses will begin on Tuesday, August 25. Information and FAQs are available on the Return to Grounds website and the Fall 2020 Student Resource website, which will be updated frequently.

All events on Grounds are cancelled until at least August 15.

The Dome Room

The Dome Room may be reserved for dinners or lectures on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings. On occasion, it may also be reserved during business hours for lectures, but will remain open to the public during those events.

Configuration & Fees

 

THE DOME ROOM USAGE FEES:

 

Usage fees: The usage fees noted above are incurred for events scheduled outside of normal operating hours (after 5pm or prior to 9am) and/or if the event is catered or requires special setup.
 
Security fees: For events requiring setup or participant access prior to 9am or after 5pm, two security staff members are required on site. The rate is $17 per hour for each RMC security staff member, at a minimum of four hours, for a total minimum security fee of $136.
 
Cancellations/Refunds: The room usage fee (deposit) will be refunded if notice of cancellation is received a minimum of 30 days prior to the scheduled event. If the event is cancelled less than 30 days prior to the event, the room usage fee will be charged. As a courtesy, kindly cancel no fee bookings per the same guidelines or as soon thereafter as possible.
